Xicu Maso directs the play that paved the way for the success of the English playwright Harold Pinter, who received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2005. A short distance comedy more current than ever.
Aston invites Davies to his home after a fight in a bar, and offers him temporary accommodation, because he has no money, no home or papers. Soon, however, he reveals himself to be an opportunistic, parasitic unpleasant old man, who complains about everything and is overtly racist. Mick, Aston's brother and the owner of the house, appears to be irritated by Davies' presence and speaks to him roughly. Aston then suggests to Davies that he becomes the caretaker of the building.
