SALA ONLINE
#LliureAlSofà from 11/19 NEW DATE
Carol López is back at the Teatre Lliure with a comedy of her own. It is a generational portrait of the baby boomers which follows Una història en quatre parts [A Four-Part Story], V.O.S. [Original Version with Subtitles] (2004) and Last Chance (2007), but this time in this new global horizon.
This story is about the things we fail to say to each other, about escapes forward, about the need to stop and listen to ourselves, about what happens when you are forced to do so, about how we judge others without having all the information we need, about the giddiness of making a break from everything and beginning again anew, about resigning ourselves or not becoming complacent, about last wishes, and about asking ourselves what happiness is. It is a series of excerpts from life nearing the age of 50, intense or sad, but always works in progress. After all, are we truly sure that we are leading the life that we want?
