Cleòpatra
CLEÒPATRA
After living in sin and corruption in Babylon for 15 years, Dylan returns to Barcelona to try to rediscover his roots and with the hope of detoxifying himself from his addictions to paid sex and cocaine. He ends up renting a room just a stone’s throw from here, in Poble Sec, on Passeig de la Puríssima Concepció, in the house of a peculiar woman, Isabel. She will soon welcome an unexpected visit from the daughter she was never able to care for, Paola, who is carrying a Kipsta bag full of problems.

With Mammón (Mammon), Cleòpatra (Cleopatra) and L’onzena plaga (The Eleventh Plague), we map out the intimate boundaries of what we are willing to do for money. Culture, our social milieu and life in a couple are the leitmotivs of the three shows, which are joined by the common thread of one of the characters, Dylan Bravo. They will be shown consecutively from April to June at the Espai Lliure. This project is co-produced by Teatre Lliure and La Brutal
