Blackbird

A man receives an unexpected visit from the girl that will threaten his existence. An unmissable play by David Harrow.

What are the urges that lead to sexual abuse of a child? At what age is it possible to say that someone is an adult? Why? At what point does provocation begin and where does it originate? Is it in the eye of the beholder, or in the mind of the person who is being watched? To what extent can a victim become a tormentor of a human being who may have made a mistake, but who is nevertheless entitled to rebuild his life after paying the penalty? Blackbird highlights everyone's fragility in the face of events for which we have no answers.
